M. A. TEETI is currently an associate professor in the School of Information Engineering (communication engineering program), East China University of Technology, Nanchang, China. He received a Master’s degree and Ph.D. in communication and information systems from the Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Wuhan, China, in 2010 and 2015, respectively. From 2003 to 2006, he served as a Teaching Assistant at the Faculty of Engineering, Al-Quds University, Palestine. From 2006 to 2008, he was a Technical Instructor with the University College for Educational Sciences, Palestine. From 2014 to 2015, he was a Visiting Research Student with InfoLab21, Lancaster University, U.K. From 2016 to 2018, he joined the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Southern University of Science and Technology, Shenzhen, China, as a Postdoctoral Fellow. Afterward, he joined the School of Information Engineering, East China University of Technology, Nanchang, as an associate professor. During his graduate studies and postdoctoral position, he took part in several research projects, including the EU FP7 CROWN Project, the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), the National Science and Technology Major Project, Guangdong Provincial Natural Science Foundation, Shenzhen Science and Technology Innovation Commission. Dr. Teeti has a long experience with research in wireless communications, especially 5G massive MIMO technology. He published, as a first author, around 10 papers in top journals and conferences. His latest research interest is focused on physical layer security in 1-bit Massive MIMO systems. His latest research contributions include studying the impact of the jamming attacks on data rates and developing a new quantization-detection framework to combat jamming attacks, both under a 1-bit massive MIMO system. He has been a reviewer for several decent journals and conferences and served as a Technical Program Committee (TPC) member in several conferences.
Research interest
Wireless communication (especially, 5G-and beyond Massive MIMO technology and mmwave ), DSP, information theory, quantum computing and machine learning.
